Delhi Police constable shoots himself with service revolver

A 32-year-old Delhi Police constable allegedly shot himself with his service revolver today, the police said.

Parvinder, posted in the traffic unit, shot himself at the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Central Range, located near Bangla Sahib Gurdwara, they added.

The constable has been admitted to RML Hospital and his condition is critical.

The police are trying to ascertain the reason behind the constable trying to kill himself.

Parvinder belongs to Bhiwani in Haryana. His brother-in- law stays at Nangloi and has been informed about the incident.
