A Delhi Police head constable was arrested for allegedly demanding a bribe for giving a clean chit to a shopkeeper in a case, the police said today.
Police said a woman filed a complaint with the Public Grievances Cell (PG) of south district, alleging that her son was using a fake passport.
The Mehrauli shopkeeper is the woman's son from her first marriage and she did not get along with him. She filed a complaint alleging that he made a passport using forged documents, they said.

The victim approached the Delhi Police's Vigilance Branch. Today, the complainant met the head constable at the PG Cell office in Hauz Khas.
The police personnel accepted the bribe money of Rs 6,000 from the complainant, said RK Jha, additional commissioner of police (Vigilance).
The head constable was arrested and the bribe money was recovered from him, the official said.
