An official of Delhi Police has been shifted to police lines for allegedly misbehaving with a disabled sportsman who was on his way to South Korea to attend an international meet.
The incident took place last week when Pradeep Raj, an international athlete with disability, approached an immigration counter of Delhi's IGI airport meant for disabled people.
Upon checking his medical certificate, the immigration official, a sub-inspector with Delhi Police, was not satisfied with it and wanted to know what his specific disability was and allegedly humiliated him.
