As part of its 'Operation Milap', Delhi Police's crime branch has reunited a 17-years-old girl lodged at a children's home with her family members.
A team of Anti Human Trafficking Unit on December 19 reached 'Ashraya Family Home', a children's home at Madanpur Dabas, and examined the records of children lodged there.
During examination, a girl appeared nervous and on sustained compassionate persuasion, she revealed that she belonged to a poor family from Ludhiana in Punjab.

Subsequently, a team was rushed to Ludhiana and police were able to trace her family and also the concerned police station has been intimated about the same.
The crime branch has started 'Operation Milap' to reunite missing children with their parents, as part of which police have been asked to screen and document all children residing in government and private shelters, railway platforms, bus stands, roads, religious places, etc.
