Transport Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj, who was detained by the police, today criticised the cops alleging they are unpopular among people, especially women.
"Everyone knows how Delhi Police work. They are unpopular among people, especially women, because they are rude and have an indifferent attitude," Bharadwaj told reporters.
The Transport Minister, who was detained, said "I was arrested along with some other people by police and taken in a van. Later, they told me that I was being detained. I was released only when (party leader) Sanjay Singh came. I was in the van for 25 minutes."
