Delhi records maximum temperature of 37.4 degree Celsius

It was a hot day in the national capital as the mercury soared to settle above 37 degrees Celsius making it tough for Delhiites.

The maximum temperature today was registered at 37.4 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average while the minimum was recorded at 25.5 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year, said a Met department official.

The humidity in air oscillated between 77 and 33 per cent.

The weatherman has predicted clear skies for tomorrow.

"The skies will be mainly clear. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 37 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius respectively," the Met forecast said.
 

Yesterday, the maximum temperature had settled at 36.7 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.4 degrees Celsius.
