Delhi reels under humid conditions

Delhiites continued to reel under muggy conditions today with the maximum temperature settling two notches above the season's average at 35.9 degrees Celsius.

According to the MeT department, the minimum temperature was recorded at 25 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal.

Humidity in air oscillated between 80 and 42 per cent which made life uneasy for Delhiites.

The MeT office has predicted similar weather conditions for tomorrow.

"The skies will be mainly clear. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 36 and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively," said a MeT official.

Yesterday, the mercury had settled at 36 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature stood at 25.2 degrees was a notch above the normal for this time of the year.
