Delhi's maximum temperature 36.7 degrees Celsius

It was a pleasant day with maximum temperature settling at 36.7 degree Celsius, one notch above the season's average and light rains occurred in some areas of the national capital.

According to MeT department, minimum temperature was recorded at 28.8 degree Celsius, which was one notch above normal. Humidity level oscillated between 78 and 61 per cent. The sky remained partly cloudy throughout the day.

Although weatherman said that there is no rain traced today, some areas of North Delhi witnessed light rains. An official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light rains for tomorrow.

"There will be generally cloudy sky tomorrow which may lead to light rains in some parts of the national capital," the official also said.
 

He further said that the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be settle at 37 degree Celsius and 28 degree Celsius respectively.

Yesterday, minimum temperature recorded was 27.8 degree Celsius while maximum settled at 36.8 degrees Celsius.
