Second seed Snehal Mane of Maharashtra crashed out of the second round of girls under-16 singles event of the Babolat 8th Ramesh Desai National Tennis Championship for under-16 and under-12 boys and girls, after going down to Delhi's Sabhyata Nihalani here today.
The Maharashtra girl was unable to raise the level of her game and came a cropper against Sabhyata. Snehal lost in straight sets in the tournament organised by the Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA).
Sabhyata, who played aggressively throughout the match, outplayed Snehal, winning the first set without losing a game and dropping just two in the second to wrap it up 6-0 6-2.

Aarushi found the going tough and struggled in the hot conditions against Prinkle Singh of Jammu and Kashmir. She managed to win a tight first set but lost steam thereafter and succumbed to a 7-6(2) 4-6 1-6 defeat.
Nandani was comprehensively beaten by her unseeded statemate Sarah Dev, who clinched a comfortable 6-4 6-3 win to make the third round.
In the boys under-16 singles competition, unseeded Sumit Pal Singh of Jammu and Kashmir showed plenty of resilience and fighting qualities to score an upset win over seventh seed Anurag Nenwani of Delhi.
Sumit Pal fought back after losing the opening set and won the subsequent two for a deserving 4-6 7-5 6-3 victory and a passage to the third round.
The top two seeds -- Nikshep B R of Karnataka and Paramveer Singh Bajwa of Punjab -- easily cruised to the third round of boys under-16 singles.
