Delhi sizzles, duststorms likely tomorrow

Delhi continued to sizzle today with maximum temperature settling at 42.3 degree Celsius, three notches above normal.

According to MeT department, the minimum temperature was 26.2 degree Celsius, which was one degree above normal for this time of the season.

Humidity oscillated between 50 per cent and 18 per cent and there was no trace of rain. However, duststorms or thunderstorms are likely in the city tomorrow.

"The sky will be partly cloudy sky. Dust storms or thunderstorms may occur in different parts of the national capital.

"The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 42 and 27 degrees respectively," an official added.
 

Yesterday, maximum temperature was recorded at 42.6 degree Celsius which was three notches above normal while the minimum recorded was 25.7 degree Celsius.
