Delhi to host Indo-German event on modern cities

The event will focus on attracting researchers from India, who will showcase their projects in a competition to groups of scientists and entreprenuers from the two countries.

German Ambassador Michael Steiner said, "Germany hopes to open up a equal oppurtunities for direct exchanges with India."

"We are looking forward to the mela that is to be held at the Millenium Park near Indraprastha metro station which will showcase a range of innovative solutions to the development of modern cities in India," said Heiko Seivers, director of Goethe Institute and Max Mullar Bhavan. South Asia.

Apart from these activities and programmes, there will also be guided tours across the venue to showcase installations by German artistr Markus Heinsdroff.
