Delhi Tourism and Doordarshan today signed a memorandum of understanding under which the public service broadcaster will air programmes with an aim to promote tourism in the city.
As per the MoU, Doordarshan will promote Delhi's tourism for three years through documentaries and cultural events.
According to the MoU, Doordarshan's art and culture channel DD Bharati will cover all the cultural events in Delhi while Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) will assist it in producing special programmes and documentaries.

DTTDC will extend support to Doordashan while preparing stories on various themes such as lesser known monuments of Delhi, sound and light show at Dilli Haats and on other aspects of tourism.
"As per the MoU, DTTDC will extend credits to Doordarshan as its TV media partner in all its publicity material," Sudhir Sobti, spokesperson of Delhi Tourism said.
