Delhi government today waived off user charges for staying at its shelters for 24 hours in the ongoing summer season.
The decision was taken after Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB) officials met Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
According to the DUSIB, it is managing 194 shelters scattered all over the national capital. Out of these, 77 shelters are in permanent buildings and 117 are in porta cabins.

It also stated that out of the 77 permanent shelters, several are for women, children, differently abled persons, senior citizens which are already free for the respective categories.
