Delhi today clinched the Senior National Rugby Championship after beating West Bengal by a huge margin at Bakshi Stadium here.
Delhi beat West Bengal in the finals 32 to 14 with six 'trys' and one 'conversion', while the eastern state managed only two 'trys' and as many 'conversions'.
Hosted by Jammu and Kashmir for the first time, the three-day event which began on August 23 saw as many as 20 teams participating in it.

It was organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Rugby Association in collaboration with the State Sports Council under the aegis of Indian Rugby Football Union.
Minister of State for Animal Husbandry, PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Nazir Ahmed Gurezi was the chief guest on the concluding ceremony and distributed the trophies and prizes amongst the players.
The Runners Up trophy was handed over to West Bengal team, while Jammu and Kashmir team was declared Plate winner, Kerela Bowl winner and Mumbai Shield winner.
