However, the mercury rose during the day and the temperature peaked at 38.9 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of year, the MeT Department said.
Humidity levels wavered between 24 and 76 per cent.
The weatherman has predicted mainly clear skies for tomorrow with the maximum and minimum temperatures expected to be around 39 and 21 degrees Celsius.
