Delhiites experience humid day

It was a humid day today with the sun shining bright over the national capital which had received overnight rains.

The humidity level oscillated between 96 and 38 per cent.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 38.4 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average while the minimum temperature settled at 24 degrees Celsius, also a notch below the normal, said a MeT Department official.

The weatherman has forecast overcast conditions for tomorrow along with the possibility of a thunderstorm and dust storm.

"The skies will be partly cloudy. Thunderstorm and dust storm is likely to occur towards night and early morning.
 

"The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at around 39 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively," said the official.

Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 38.7 degrees Celsius while the minimum settled at 27 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
