Light showers and below normal day temperature made the weather pleasant for the Delhiites today.

Morning rains brought some relief from humid conditions, as the humidity level touched a high of 95 per cent due to overcast conditions, while the minimum was 71 per cent.

The rain-gauge in the city recorded 2.8 mm of rains during the day, between 8.30 AM and 5.30 PM.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 32.6 degrees Celsius, which was a degree below normal while the minimum normal at 26.3 deg C, Met Department said.

The national capital had been witnessing rains during the morning hours for the past few days, causing inconvenience to the commuters, especially the office-goers.

There were reports of traffic snarls at some places like Nand Nagari due to water-logging.

According to MeT officials, tomorrow the city will witness a generally cloudy sky with possibility of rains and thundershowers in some parts.

The maximum and minimum are likely to remain 32 and 26 degrees Celsius.
