High humidity coupled with rise in temperature left Delhiites in discomfiture today.
According to the MeT office, the maximum temperature was recorded at 40.3 deg C which was normal for this part of the season but significantly up from yesterday's 38.5 deg C.
The minimum temperature settled at 28.8 deg C, one notch above normal and 2.2 degrees up from yesterday's 26.6 deg C.
The maximum and minimum humidity were recorded at 78 per cent and 45 per cent, respectively.
The Weatherman has predicted a partly cloudy sky tomorrow while the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 41 deg C and 29 deg C, respectively.
