Delhiites wake up to hot morning

It was another hot morning in the national capital today with the minimum temperature settling at 26 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average.

According to the MeT department, the humidity level recorded at 8.30 AM was 43 per cent.

A MeT official has predicted clear skies throughout the day.

"The skies will remain clear and the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 43 degrees Celsius," the official said.

The weatherman has predicted that heatwave-like conditions are likely to continue this week in the city.

Yesterday, the mercury soared upto 44 degrees in some parts of the city while the minimum settled at 25.4 degrees Celsius.
