Residents of the national capital today woke up to overcast skies and humid conditions, with the minimum temperature recorded at 27.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
Humidity had soared to 85 per cent by 8.30 AM.
The Met Department has predicted rain and thundershowers for the day.

"The skies will be generally cloudy. Rain and thundershowers would occur in some areas across the day," a weather official said.
The minimum temperature today touched 27.5 degrees Celsius, one notch above average, and the maximum is expected to hover at around 35 degrees Celsius.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature recorded was 35.2 degrees while the minimum was recorded at 26.5 degrees Celsius.
