Delhiites wakes up to sunny morning

The residents of the national capital today woke up to a sunny morning with the minimum temperature recorded at 27.5 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average.

According to the MeT Department, humidity level recorded till 8.30 AM was 70 per cent which caused discomfort to Delhiites.

An official of the department has predicted partly cloudy skies later in the day.

"The skies will become partly cloudy in the afternoon, but there is no rain expected today," the official also said.

He further said that the maximum temperature is expected to settle at 36 degrees Celsius.

Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperature were recorded at 37 degrees and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively.
