Delhiities experience hot day

It was a hot day in the national capital today as the sun shone bright and the maximum temperature settled at 37.3 degrees Celsius, four notches above the normal.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 21.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, said a MeT department official.

The humidity level in air oscillated between 74 and 26 per cent.

The MeT official has forecast a hotter day and partly overcast conditions for tomorrow.

"The skies will be partly cloudy. Mist or haze may occur in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 38 and 22 degrees Celsius respectively," he said.
 

Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 37.5 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature recorded was 19.5 degrees Celsius.
