The Federation of PTI Employees Union today demanded formation of a new wageboard for employees of newspapers and news agencies' after the 7th Pay Commission for government employees.
The demand for new wage board was made at the national executive of the Federation at its meeting here today.
The last wage board headed by retired justice G R Mathia gave its recommendations in December, 2011 and they were accepted and notified by the Central government in November, 2011.
