Former Andhra Pradesh minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu has demanded that Karimnagar district be renamed after former prime minister P V Narasimha Rao.
"We demand that the district be renamed after the former PM in recognition of his services," the former civil supplies minister said addressing a meeting of the Telangana United Brahaman Political Awareness organisation here today.
The former PM hailed from this district.
The meeting also resolved to have a 5 per cent reservation for Brahmins in total number of seats for Assembly and Lok Sabha polls.
