Opposition RJD today slammed the government over the ongoing UPSC row and said the demand to remove CSAT was still not met.
"This (government's announcement) was not even in the list of proceedings today. We feel the government is playing with Indian languages, including Hindi. There was a demand in Parliament and also on the road by the students to abolish CSAT.
"The students were beaten up, subjected to tear-gas torture. Injustice is being done to the students by not abolishing CSAT. How will bright students become IAS and IPS? The government is arrogant about the mandate it has got and we will fight this out in Parliament as well as on roads," said RJD MP Jay Prakash Narayan Yadav.
