A spokesperson for the New York Police Department confirmed that Moore and Bruce's daughter was charged with two misdemeanors, criminal impersonation and a violation of the open-container law, reported New York Post.

According to The New York Daily News, Scout was spotted with an 8-ounce Pakistani beer and when questioned by authorities she gave them a New York State ID with the name Katherine Kelly on it.

After being questioned further, she reportedly told the officer, "My name is Scout Willis. The first ID isn't mine. My friend gave it to me. I don't know Katherine Kelly."

Scout, who is a student at Brown University, is due in in Manhattan Criminal Court on July 31.

The arrest comes a few months after Scout caused controversy with a twitter feed that declared she hated her parents, had tried the drug MDMA and was romantically approached by photographer Terry Richardson.

She later said the tweets were a hoax which she created for a class, intended to show that the more outrageous your posts, the more followers you get.

Demi and Bruce separated in 2000 after being together for 14 years. They have two more daughters Rumer Glenn Willis and Tallulah Willis.
