A team of the enforcement wing of the District Town and Planning department in Gurgaon today demolished unauthorised constructions in Bhondsi village here on the basis of complaints received form common people through 'CM Window'.

'CM Window' is a web portal launched by the Haryana government for redressal of citizens' grievances.

According to an official, around 25 under-construction buildings, 130 other structures and 70 boundary walls were demolished.

DTP (Enforcement) Rajender T Sharma said, "The department took strong cognisance of the complaints and has decided to not to allow any unauthorised construction or colonisation specifically in Bhondsi and Naya Gaon Area of Gurgaon."

"The demolition was carried out today despite resistance from the residents of those unauthorised colonies. Around 30 acres of land has been restored to its original state," he said.

Sharma said that notices have been issued to four unauthorised colonies and action against those will be taken in the forthcoming demolition drives.

According to DTP Enforcement, demolition drives against unauthorised constructions will be carried out on weekly basis.
