Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda today described the decision to scrap Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes as "historic".
The senior BJP leader said in a press release that the step would eliminate black money and fake notes.
It would also help strengthen the financial condition of the country, he said.
