Dempo are leading the table with 53 points from 24 matches and need just one point from their remaining two matches to lift the title.
So Dempo hold a psychological advantage over their rivals, who are placed fourth with 44 points from 23 matches and needs to win all their three remaining games.
"Our job is simple and clear as we aim to finish it off at the earliest. The boys are not worried just because they are facing tough opponent. Such opposition bring out the best in the boys," said Dempo coach Armando Colaco.
"We want to win the title early in front of our home crowd as playing in Kolkata against Prayag United on May 5 will certainly put us under pressure," he added.
Meanwhile, East Bengal team had arrived here early to prepare for the crucial clash.
"We are in the same situation as last year when we came to Goa, we needed a win against Salgaocar and that too without defender Uga Okpara and the goalkeeper," said East Bengal coach Trevor Morgan.

"While now both the goalkeepers are available for the must-win clash, it is Okpara's absence that could prove vital," he insisted.
The coach, however, said playing away from home would be an advantage for East Bengal.
"We are happy that we are playing away from home, where the expectation of the fans is more and the hype created by media put us under lot of pressure.
