Unbeaten in three matches, Mohammedan Sporting will have the edge when they take on a struggling Dempo in a round 12 I-League match here tomorrow.

Both the teams drew their respective matches in the last round -- Mohammadan Sporting against Mohun Bagan and Dempo versus Pune FC despite taking a lead through Beto.

The local challengers have been difficult to beat at home, losing just one from five while in the last three outings they are unbeaten without conceding a goal.

The defence, manned by Brazilian Luciano Sabrosa, will further get a boost with the signing of India international Nirmal Chettri who is set to make his debut for the black and whites.

Coach Moshood Bola Abdul Aziz will hope that their forward line-up get into goal scoring mode, something that's been a concern with 10 goals from as many matches.

"With a bit more luck we could have won against Mohun Bagan... But we are now focusing on the next game and hopefully our finishing will get better," the Nigerian coach said.

A point separates both the teams in the standings with Mohammedan Sporting (12) on seventh against Dempo's 10th place as any more slip-up will take the five-time champion to the relegation zone.

In their last outing here the Arthur Papas-coached side stunned East Bengal 3-1 at Kalyani as the would hope to revive their I-League fortunes.
