Dengue cases: Tel to send medicos from Hyd to Khammam district

Telangana government has decided to send doctors, medical personnel and equipments from Hyderabad to the villages in Khammam district where a number of dengue cases have been reported.

Health Minister C Laxma Reddy today discussed the issue with officials and decided to conduct medical tests on all the residents in Bonakal and other villages in Khammam district where a large number of dengue cases are being reported, an official release said.

Government also decided to undertake measures, including sanitation and spraying disinfectants, to check the spread of dengue, the release further said.
