Jahan Aara jumped to death from third floor of a factory building in Surajpur area, police said.
Aara's husband Kuber was later detained for questioning and he told police that his wife was in habit of eating 'gutka'.
Last night he had stopped her from eating the tobacco product and verbal duel followed, police said.
Infuriated Aara later took the extreme step.
However, the police are also probing the angle of murder.
The body has been sent for post mortem.
