There were as many as 39 trains which were behind schedule. While North East Express was running 22 hours behind schedule, Farakka Express was late by 14 hours. Kaifiyat Express and Vikramshila Express were late by 11 hours and 12 hours respectively.
Railways cancelled services of 17 trains including Toofan Abha Express, Gomti Express and Taj Express due to dense fog.
Besides, departure timings of 23 trains were rescheduled.
