Around 18 flights were delayed at Delhi airport and 12 due to bad weather at destinations and 63 due to various operational reasons, airport officials said.
There was no cancellation of flights due to fog in Delhi while eight were cancelled due to bad weather at destinations and three due to operational reasons, they said.
Three international flights, one of Air India (AI-946) from Dubai, one of Jet Airways (9W-017) from Singapore and one of Uzbekistan Airways (HY 421) from Tashkent were diverted to Jaipur and Amritsar arriving here between 2.30 AM and 3 AM as the visibility was poor at the airport.
During the Low Visibly Procedures put in place by the airport authorities during the poor visibility hours, 91 flights landed assisted with the various categories of ILS while 130 flights took off.
Though there was fog at the airport yesterday, it had no effect on flight operations. Around 50 flights were hit due to operational reasons yesterday.
