Dense haze engulfs Delhi

The national capital was today engulfed in a thick haze with the maximum temperature being recorded at 30.1 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year.

The city registered a minimum temperature of 15.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average, said a MeT department official.

Humidity on the higher side settled at 90 per cent while on the lower side it was recorded at 43 per cent.

Visibility was recorded 400 meters at 8.30 AM, 11.30 AM, 2.30 PM and 5.30 PM respectively.

The MeT office has predicted clear skies for tomorrow.

"The skies will be mainly clear. There will be shallow to moderate fog in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 30 and 15 degrees Celsius," the weatherman said.
