A senior police officer claimed the matter was communicated to police following which some cops were deployed outside Dr Narang's house yesterday.
The 40-year-old dentist was beaten to death by a group of about 12 people at his residence in Vikaspuri area on Wednesday night, following which nine of them, including four juveniles and a middle-aged woman, have been apprehended.
Narang was dragged out of his house and beaten with bats, iron rods and hockey sticks following an argument over a bike grazing the doctor's child.
