Actor Denzel Washington is set to star in the first ever sequel of his career, "The Equalizer 2".
The 61-year-old Oscar-winner will reportedly reprise his role of Robert McCall, a retired soldier who returns to his violent life after colliding with a group of violent Russian gangsters, reported The Independent.
The film will be a follow-up to the 2014 "The Equalizer", director Antoine Fuqua's big-screen version of the 80s TV series.
Washington has also worked with Fuqua in 2001 film "Training Day" for which he won the Academy Award.
