'Desert God' wins main Hyderabad race

The Bengaluru Challenger 'Deserted God', who was a public choice, scored facile win in the 2,000 M Deccan Derby, the blue ribboned event of the monsoon races held here today.

The winner was trained by Padmanabhan and ridden by David Allan.

Trainer Laxman S scored a quadruple, while jockey Kuldeep S scored a treble and P Travor a double.

Seven first favourites obliged in a card of ten events.
