Mumbai Crime branch officials investigating the alleged suicide of company's former Chief of Corporate Communication, Charudutta Deshpande have grilled a senior official working along with him.
A senior official in the Corporate Communication Department was grilled till Thursday midnight, said Deputy SP Deepak Devraj.
"We have visited the Human Resource, Vigilance and Intelligence departments of the company and recorded statements of some officials in connection with the case yesterday," he said.

"We have also verified some documents related to the case and visited the departments a couple of times in course of the investigation," he said.
The investigation will continue even on Friday, he said.
"We have already interrogated the Vice-President rank officials and may even talk to the Managing Director of the company, if required," Devraj said to a question.
The investigating officials entered the company premises including Corporate Communication and General Office around 10.30 AM and left the corporate communication, where they interrogated an official till 12.10 PM.
The team from Mumbai began their probe into Deshpande's suicide on Monday last and recorded statements of officials of Corporate Communication from Jamshedpur, Odisha and Kolkata, Vice-President ranked officials including Deputy Vice-president (Corporate services) Sunil Bhaskaran, Farzan Heerjee, Chief of Corporate Relations during the course.
