Desi Warrior kicks off with Battlefield Gurgaon

Desi Warrior today kicked off Battlefield Gurgaon, a home grown world class obstacle run and festival, which saw hundreds of fitness enthusiasts participate in the event.

Desi Warrior, an Adrenaline Entertainment Pvt. Ltd Initiative, unveiled the inaugural event which saw fitness enthusiasts from Delhi NCR put themselves through over 20 obstacles, over more than a 5 km course.

While the obstacle course was the main attraction of Battlefield Gurgaon, a dedicated festival area was set up for visiting families, friends and participants that comprised of live bands such as 'Traffic Jam', interactive competitions, camel rides, an ATV track.

"Desi Warrior is a challenge and it's about taking part in something bigger than yourself, overcoming your fears, pushing your limits and having fun while doing it. Every person walking off this course leaves a stronger person both physically & mentally," said Rish Saini, founder of Desi Warrior, after completing the course himself.
 

Battlefield Gurgaon featured 24 obstacles over a spread of 6+ kilometers that was put together by a highly skilled team of professionals, customized and designed for India.

Be it hurdling over fire, a belly crawl under barbed wire, dragging cement blocks, trudging over a series muddy hills or climbing a rope sky high, Desi Warrior had elements that worked as the ultimate test of one's resolve.

The obstacle names had a unique 'Desi' twist with names like Matka Mile, Horn-OK-Please, Dubki Maar, Dum Laga Ke Haisha & Brrrrfi.

Among the hundreds of adult participants, Desi Warrior hosted over 500 kids who participated in their 'Fruit Shoot Chota Warrior' course. It was a dedicated 1km kids track with 12 age appropriate obstacles for children between the ages of 8-15 years old.
