The men's CCI JSW International Squash circuit tournament has become an all-Egypt affair following the progress of the top two seeds Fares Dessouky and Mohammed Abouelghar into tomorrow's final.
In the semi-finals today at the Cricket Club of India, top-seeded Dessouky tamed third seed Chris Simpson of England 3-0 while Abouelghar outclassed fifth seed Nicolas Mueller of Switzerland by an identical scoreline.
Indian challenge in the tournament had ended yesterday with the defeat of main hope Saurav Ghosal against Mueller in the quarter finals.
Results (semi finals):
(1) Fares Dessouky (EGY) beat (3) Chris Simpson (ENG) 14-12, 11-5, 11-7; (2) Mohamed Abouelghar (EGY) beat (5) Nicolas Mueller (SUI) 11-7, 11-6, 11-9.
