Commissioner of Faizabad Division Vishal Chauhan today directed the Amethi district administration to issue show-cause notices to project managers of PACFED and UP Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) for laxity in carrying out development work assigned to them.
Chauhan, who is the nodal officer of development works in Amethi district, reviewed the status of various projects and directed the district administration to initiate action against the managers of Samaj Kalyan Nirman Nigam and Rashtriya Ajivika Mission.
The commissioner instructed all the concerned officials and in-charges to complete all the pending work in time maintaining its quality as per the state government's norms.
Chauhan also visited some project sites.
Amethi District Magistrate Jagat Raj Tripathi and other senior district officials attended the review meeting chaired by the Commissioner on the collectorate premises at Gauriganj.
