Gurwinder Singh, a resident of village Nagra of district Ludhiana, along with a friend had come here for the mela, they said.
The duo were on foot when Gurwinder was hit by a vehicle, police said, adding that he was seriously injured and succumbed to his injured on way to the hospital.
A case has been registered against the unidentified driver of the vehicle, police said.
