Dewan Housing Finance Ltd (DHFL) today said the company has allotted 14,58,56,530 bonus equity shares in the ratio of 1:1.
Earlier in July, the board of directors of DHFL had approved to issue of bonus shares in the 1:1 ratio.
"Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on September 15 allotted 14,58,56,530 bonus equity shares of Rs 10 each, in the ratio of 1:1," it said in a filing to the BSE.
Further it said: "Consequent to the allotment of the subject bonus equity shares, the paid-up share capital of the company stands increased from present Rs 145,85,65,300 divided into 14,58,56,530 equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each to Rs 291,71,30,600 divided into 29,17,13,060 equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each."
DHFL shares closed 0.2 per cent down at Rs 221.20 apiece on BSE today.
