Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar Tuesday said the director general of police (crime) has been asked to probe the Nuh firing incident in which a man was reportedly killed in cross-firing last month.
A 23-year-old man was allegedly killed in a suspected cross-firing during a joint raid by police teams of Uttarakhand and Haryana in Nuh district on August 8.
"The matter related to the Nuh case has been given to the DGP Crime for a thorough probe," Khattar said on the last day of the Vidhan Sabha session.
Yesterday, Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) MLAs Nassem Ahmed and Zakir Hussain had sought a discussion in the House on the matter related to the Nuh firing incident.
Hussain Tuesday demanded from the state government to give justice to the family of the man.
Later, on the opposition INLD's demand for action in the case of alleged irregularities in land deals during the previous Congress regime, Khattar assured the House that nobody would be spared whosoever was found guilty.

Earlier, INLD MLA and Leader of Opposition Abhay Chautala accused the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government of taking four years in registering a case against former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Congress leader Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra for alleged irregularities in land deal in Gurgaon.
"FIR should have been lodged four years ago. You waited for four years to register an FIR," said Chautala while taking a swipe at the Khattar government.
Chautala demanded from Khattar to announce the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) or hand over the probe in connection with the alleged irregularities in land deals to a sitting judge.
INLD MLAs staged a brief walkout of the House.
Speaking in the House, Khattar said that during the last four years, the present state government had taken several decisions in the interest of the employees.
He said with the consent of the former chief minister, Chautala, former advocate general Hawa Singh Hooda and leaders of employees unions, a special petition has been filed in the Supreme Court on September 6 regarding regularising the services of contractual employees.
Khattar said that he would continue taking decisions for the welfare of people.
The Punjab and Haryana High Court in June this year had set aside the "employee regularisation policy" whereby the previous state government had regularised the services of more than 20,000 contractual employees.
While referring to the strike by the employees of Haryana roadways, he said that such strikes would not be tolerated by the government.
He said that the state government was committed to provide better transportation facilities to its citizen.
Khattar said the state government has increased the number of seats in medical colleges from 700 to 1,450.
As per the state government's commitment to open new medical college in each district and increase the number of seats in already established medical colleges, the number of seats would reach up to 2,000 in the coming years, he said.
Meanwhile, the House passed several Bills, including the Haryana Appropriation Bill, 2018, Haryana Municipal Corporation (second amendment) Bill, 2018, Haryana Municipal Citizens' Participation (Amendment) Bill.
