Giving the credit to the people of the state and all security agencies for the peaceful conduct of the previous yatras, the DGP said "it is because of well planned coordination among the security agencies and the people's cooperation that large number of pilgrims had visited the holy cave during the previous years which concluded peacefully".

He emphasised on interaction with the people for their cooperation in making the yatra peaceful.

"People of the State have proved themselves peace loving and shown their generousness towards the pilgrims," he said.
