He had won a gold at the last edition of the South Asian Games in Dhaka and this time Chhote Lal Yadav's target is even higher -- to help five-time world champion MC Mary Kom win a second Olympic medal.
"We're trying really hard and she's all the more dedicated to win again at the Olympics. But at the moment, the first target is to get a qualification," Yadav, who was roped in as Mary Kom's personal coach in July last year through Olympic Gold Quest, told PTI.
"Imagine to leave your two-year-old son at home and spend hours at practice. She's doing a lot of sacrifice," Yadav said after a training session with Mary Kom at the Practice Hall in NEHU where boxing will begin in the 12th South Asian Games.
