The East Central Railway (ECR) has cancelled the Dhanbad-Alleppey Express due to heavy rain in Kerala, an official said on Sunday.
The train was scheduled to leave Dhanbad on Monday for Alleppey in Kerala, said an official of the ECR, headquartered at Hajipur.
The train, 13352 Alleppey-Dhanbad Express, which was scheduled to commence journey on August 9, was cancelled by the Southern Railway due to heavy rain in Kerala, a release said.
"Consequently, the 13351 Dhanbad-Alleppey Express jouney scheduled to commence on August 12, 2019 will remain cancelled from Dhanbad," ECR Chief Public Relation Officer (CPRO) Rajesh Kumar said.
