Shares of Dhanlaxmi Bank today rose by 2.5 per cent after the company said it will raise Rs 200 crore through issuance of equity shares on preferential basis.
The stock gained 2.50 per cent to settle at Rs 24.60 on BSE. Intra-day, it climbed 3.75 per cent to Rs 24.90.
At NSE, shares of the company went up 2.49 per cent to end at Rs 24.65.

On the volume front, 1.61 lakh shares of the company were traded at BSE and over 15 lakh shares changed hands at NSE during the day.
The decision was taken at the bank's board meeting yesterday.
"The Board of Directors at its meeting held on July 4 approved the proposal for further issue of equity shares up to a maximum of Rs 200 crore on preferential allotment basis," it said in a regulatory filing.
The bank said a postal ballot was held for seeking approval of the shareholders to raise the money.
