Ravishankar G, who resigned as Jet Airways' acting chief executive and chief financial officer, will be joining the Group Management Centre (GMC) at Rajesh Wadhawan Group, the promoters of home loan company DHFL.

Ravishankar quit Jet Airways last week and became another name among many top executives who have quit one of the country's largest carriers.

Apart from Ravishankar, who joins as member-finance in the top decision making body of the group, Marico's group CFO Milind Sarwate has also joined the group as member of strategy and corporate social responsibility, a statement said.

"I am delighted at this strengthening of our human capital base, as we transform ourselves into a financial services conglomerate across the value chain," Kapil Wadhawan, chairman of the group, said.

He added that over the next few weeks, the group will add more "professionals with proven track record" to become a "world-class financial institution".

"It will be our endeavour, as part of GMC, in bringing innovation and best practices across the group, and in helping build the group's institutional framework," Ravishankar said.
